The surgeon is an artist...the artist is a surgeon

Sculptors use a crude chisel & hammer to breathe life into a chunk of wood. With a simple brush and a variety of colors, a painter can transport natural scenery into a square canvas. These masters of their craft and of the art do not only deploy a skilled hand; a lot of imagination and creativity is needed to create a masterpiece.

Dr. Benjamin Tan Alonzo is neither a sculptor nor a painter, but he is well known for having a skilled hand plus an imaginative and creative vision.

But Dr. Alonzo admits that his hands and his vision do not make him a miracle worker.

" But of course, there are limitations with the treatments. I inform patients that I help them improve their features, but it is only God who can totally change them.", Dr. Alonzo added.

Cosmetic surgery is considered as one of the most radical innovations in the scientific field, defying natural resources endowed on men to better suit their taste.

That is why; no other person can best appreciate physical beauty more than an artist. Artistry takes on different form in cosmetic surgery, through the hands of every cosmetic surgeon.
