||Whichever way you look at it, once you start losing hair, it means you're starting to get old. The end result makes you look (and perhaps) feel unattractive, thus you lose your self-esteem and confidence .
|Clinical studies have shown that hormones, genes, age, stress, medication, illness and yes even poor nutrition are causes of hair loss. Naturally, a person sheds about 50 to 100 hairs a day. But one should be alarmed that thinning and falling hair can lead to permanent hair loss. So don't just do nothingyou don't want to see bald spots, do you?
In the past, cosmetic science has gone a long way in finding effective and safer solution to this problem. The birth of HAIR TRANSPLANTATION surpasses all hair restoration methods worldwide.
Say goodbye to wigs, hair grow solutions which take years to see its effect, if they are really effectiveHair transplantation is a tried and tested solution to hair loss and baldness, whether you are a man or a woman, and it does not have any long term or major side effects, says Dr. Alonzo.
HAIR TRANSPLANTATION involves relocation of the patient's existing hair follicles from the donor site to the balding area which is often located on the back or side of the scalp then a strip of skin from the donor area is removed and then finally closed with self-absorbable sutures. The donor strip is cut into 3 sizes of grafts such as micro graft, single follicular unit and the modified follicular unit). To explain, micro graft has 1 hair, while single follicular unit has 2 hairs, and the modified follicular unit has 2 to 4 hairs. The surgical technicians isolate individual hair follicles from the donor strip and then implant them to the graft region. The grafts are inserted into pre-cut micro and mini slits to fill in the patient's balding areas. Surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia and generally takes about 3 to 5 hours depending on the number of grafts.
After the surgery, patient will feel little or no pain, and can return to work the next day. Shortly within 3 to 6 months, the transplanted hair starts to grow and starts to have the same strength, color, texture, length and life span as your hair from your donor area. Final results seen within 6 months. You will be amazed how your transplanted hairs look and feel natural.
