Hair waxing,
Now!
Removal
of unwanted hair can sometimes be painstaking. Yes there are
a lot of
hair removal products in the market, but it is still best to go to the professionals
if you want long lasting results minus the hassles of doing it
yourself.
Here at Beaufaces,
we eliminate unwanted hair
using wax method. The
procedure is
inexpensive, convenient and can last for some weeks in most cases. It
is very effective in removing large amounts of hair at one
time in
various areas such as face, upper lip, underarms, bikini area, and
legs. It also removes dead skin cells in the process which results
clean and smooth surface.
Using a fabric
strip, the soft wax is easily
spread thinly over the skin in the
direction of hair growth, and then pressed on the top, and then finally
ripped off with a quick pull back action removing the wax along with
the hair and dead skin cells. Procedure lasts between 15 to 30 minutes
depending on the area/s and amount of hair to be removed.
Are there side
effects of hair waxing on the skin?
You may experience noticeable redness and bumps on the treated area/s
but these disappear after a few hours. We apply healing cream
immediately after the procedure to sooth irritated skin due to the hair
waxing action which causes the skin to sting. There may be
slight to
severe pain involved with this procedure which may last from seconds to
minutes, but this will subside in an hour or so.
How long will
the result lasts?
Hair grows back slower and finer because waxing pulls the hair roots
out below the surface of the skin. It usually takes one month before
your hair starts to grow. But the good thing, there is less hair
regrowth and some hair even never regrows, if it does the
strand
appears finer.
Are there
contraindications in the procedure?
Hair waxing is not recommended for persons
with diabetes or who have
varicose veins or poor circulation because they are susceptible to
infection. It is also advisable not to have this procedure
done on sensitive parts of the body such as nipples, inside the ears
and nose, eyelashes and male genitals, by doing so, can tear of the
skin when the wax is removed resulting to wounds on the said areas.
Moreover, it should not be applied to skin affected by warts, pimples,
moles, rashes, irritated and broken skin, chapped or suffering from
sunburn, and recently peeled skin.
Never shave
your Underarms! Shaving causes the hair to grow back thicker and
darker. Regular waxing of your underarms proves to
beneficial, as it helps reduce hair growth over a period of time.
It is the best way to keep your underarm skin cleaner and
lighter.
